This is based on: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:735065 - an incredible design by barneyj that has left me thoroughly impressed. I tweaked it significantly to perfectly fit my trusty Spectrum DX7s and ASUS MeMo Pad 7, while also pairing seamlessly with a reliable 3DR radio for GCS functionality. The intricate pieces were skillfully printed in high-quality PLA at an incredibly precise .1 mm layer height and impressive 100% density settings. Moreover, the center mount piece boasts well-engineered M3 threads that securely fasten into place. Surprisingly enough, these threaded inserts hold surprisingly firm without compromising their stability - no surprise with M3x12 socket head screws deftly securing clips to the sturdy central mounting block. Meanwhile, an M4x45 flat-head screw expertly bolts the transmitter bracket onto its fixed mount position and ensures smooth communication with other vital components - namely an integral nut positioned for maximum strength on one side of a remarkably rigid mechanical arm, not forgetting an impressive recess within the thumb screw designed specifically to secure valuable equipment. To build upon previous developments, I engineered a revised V2 DX7s version complete with slightly broadened grip arms which boast enhanced hold onto their chosen mounting base. What's more, these updated arms significantly contribute to ensuring a snugger fit overall on top of an incredibly reliable connection to the all-important transmitter. Equally noteworthy was the upgrade I introduced for my ASUS MeMo Pad mounting compartment by refining dimensions and implementing vital modifications so as not allow eBay cheaply sourced OTG USB adapters obstruct its path or diminish the otherwise flawless user experience.
