AstroTech AT65EDQ / Teleskop-Express ATO65Q adapter for NEMA-17 stepper motors is designed to work seamlessly with various AstroTech models. This innovative solution was created to support ArduFocus on all my scopes, following a successful first test on a different telescope. My approach utilized Droftart's parametric pulley OpenSCAD files to generate the 70-tooth GT2 pulley that I fitted over the existing focuser knob. To ensure secure attachment, you'll need to replace the factory M3 screws with longer ones that can grasp the factory mount effectively. With a 20T pulley on the stepper motor, you'll achieve an impressive 0.02mm per step precision, which should be more than sufficient.
