AstroPrint Pi Case
thingiverse
Well, it was high time I tried something other than printing directly from the SD card. After conducting some research, I stumbled upon AstroPrint, a software that's incredibly easy to use and allows users to "monitor and control their printers from any web-enabled device," as well as cloud-based slicing and numerous other features. What's more, I can run it on one of my Raspberry Pi's... That's awesome! This little case is designed for the Raspberry Pi models B+, 2, and 3 (any Pi with four USB ports). It's an extremely simple case based on Adafruit's Pi Face Case, held together with 4x countersunk screws. I grabbed the AstroPrint logo from their KeyRing over here. Don't get me wrong... I could stare at my Wombot all day, but being able to monitor my prints while watching movies on the couch? Sounds pretty good to me!
