Astronomy green laser mount for camera hotshoe, telescope or barndoor mount
thingiverse
This device mounts a standard 14mm diameter green laser that can be customized, to a camera hotshoe, telescope, barndoor mount or other equipment. The mount features a bump where you can rotate the laser button to keep it turned on continuously. However, keeping it constantly turned on is hazardous for eyes and approaching airplanes, and may trigger legal issues depending on your local jurisdiction, so exercise extreme caution always. I strongly suggest attaching an infrared-block filter to the end of your green laser for added safety measures. The barn door star tracker in the photo is based on instructions found at [here](https://www.instructables.com/id/Simple-Manual-Star-Tracker-for-Astrophotography/). The OpenSCAD file utilizes and bundles my tubemesh library, which can be accessed at [this link](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2406760).
