Astronomie lamp red LED light 650nm dimmer

English: This is an astronomie lamp I use for handling during observation at night. It uses 6 x 650nm red LED´s witch can be dimmed over a wide range from 0% to 100%. Batterie DC voltage input range is from 8V up. I tested until 27V. Therefore it is designed for 12V PB accumulators or 3 cell in row Lithium accumulators. I use a 3 cell LiOn with max voltage 12.6V, normal voltage 11.1V and final voltage 3 x 2.9V = 8.7V. This means output voltage and therefore LED light is stable over the complete voltage range. More LED´s can be added is additional pathes or less LED can be used if the path resistor is adapted to the maximum path current (20-25mA per path). I added here also a housing I use for my OMEGON Dobson mount. I have attached the schematic and some information in German language. Please use GOOGLE Translate for details. If there is a need for translation into english please let me know. The additional switch is used to switch ON or Off the encoders and do have have anything to do with the Astrolight. Deutsch: Eine Astro-Lampe für das Arbeiten in der Nacht am Teleskop. Ich nutze 6 rote 650nm LED´s. Diese können zwischen 0% und 100% gedimmt werden. DIe Akku-Eingangsspannung der Schaltung muß min. 8V betragen. Ich habe die Schaltung bis 27V getestet. Geeignet ist sie daher für Blei-Akkus als auch z.B. 3 Zellen LiOn Akkus.Bei diesen ist die maximale Spannung 12,6V, die nominale Spannung 11,1V und die tiefste erlaubte Spannung 3 x 2,9V = 8,7V. In diesem Eingangsspannungsbereich bleibt die Ausgangsspannung und die Lichtleistung konstant. Es können mehr LED`s in weiteren Pfaden zusammen mit einem Vorwiderstand angeschlossen werden. Der Strom pro Pfad darf max. 25mA betragen. Alternativ kann die Anzahl an LED pro Pfad erniedrigt werden, wenn der Vorwiderstand angepaßt wird. Ebenso verfügbar ist hier die Gehäusedatei zum drucken in 3D. ich verwende die Schaltung an einer OMEGON Dobson PUSH+ Montierung. Bitte die PDF Datei lesen. Dort gibts Hinweise und das Schaltbild. Der zusätzliche Schalter dient zum ein/Ausschalten der Encoder und hat mit der Lampe nichts zu tun.
