Astronaut on parachute

Mr. Rock in spacesuit with parachute is ready to be shot away by a slingshot. Iv decided to recreate toy paratrooper from eighties (I liked that toy a lot when I was a child). Well, thats pretty much everything. What you will need? - Print three parts (astronaut, parachute cover, slingshot) - Get some parachute (round shape piece of plastic bag will do the job). Stick 6 or 8 threads to your parachute and tie them to your astronaut. - Get rubberbands. Three of them. You will need one strong for your slingshot, second will open your parachute cover and the last one will secure parachute cover until you shoot the poor man up to the skies. How to operate whole thing. - Pack you parachute and put it inside your parachute cover. - Put parachute cover on astronauts back. Put rubber from parachute cover on his helmet. The rubber is here to force parachute cover to open. - Get your last rubber (the one from lower part of parachute cover) and tie it around astronauts legs. Hold the astronauts legs with rubber, dont let the rubber get loose. - Secure rubber from slingshot to astronauts helmet hook. Tension slingshot rubber and release astronaut towards skyies. Dont let the rubber around his legs get loose before you release him. Watch photos and mind correct orientation of rubber through slingshot. Dont hurt your fingers (as I did many times). It takes some time to run this toy properly. Biggest problem is with parachute packing. You shoot your astronaut succesfully, parachute cover goes off, but poor astronaut lands hard on the ground with his parachute still packed - it happens a lot until you find your way to pack parachute the right way. Find yourself secure place with perfect lawn where you cannot hurt anyone. Sunny day without wind is ideal too. Have fun
