The suit is designed with a jet pack for short bursts in Mars' reduced gravity, a securing device on the rover, and a port to landing capsules. The suit is manufactured in one piece with no assembly required, utilizing the latest technologies in 3D printing. Despite being printed in one piece, the arms and legs move with a great range of motion. Landing Capsule (Orion Evolved): Inspired by the work on the Orion Capsule, our landing capsule has undergone shape changes for 3D printing and manufacturing. Once landed, the crew will convert the capsules into living space and labs with all the comforts of home. The emergency hatch prints in one piece and opens and closes with no additional assembly required. To the left of the door is the emergency air lock release, while to the left of that is the port for entering and exiting the capsule directly into the suit, utilizing the same concept developed for the small pressurized rover (SPR).
