Astromech Holo Projector Threaded Plug and Neopixel Holder

thingiverse

This is a cutting-edge 7-Bit neopixel holder and precision-engineered threaded plug, expertly paired with my state-of-the-art threaded CSL Holo Projector. Crafted in the latest version of Fusion 360 software, this innovative design requires 3 x M3 screws to secure it in place. To assemble the neopixel disk into the holder, users can employ a hot glue technique or opt for a more precise approach using an M2.5 screw. When printing, make sure to enable threading on the bed, as this will ensure a smooth and accurate fit. Supports are not necessary for the threaded plug, but are required for the neopixel holder to maintain its structural integrity. Printing settings should include a nozzle temperature of 215°C, a bed temperature of 50°C, and a print speed of 60-80 mm/s. The material used should be PLA. This design has been successfully printed on CR-10 and CTC 3D printers with excellent results.
