This thing was designed with Tinkercad. Edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/euO6IEV2azc These parts are engineered for surface mounting, mimicking aluminum components. Paint each part separately before assembly to ensure a seamless fit. They bond easily using basic Cyanoacrylate glue (also known as Crazy Glue or Super Glue), which can be sourced at the dollar store. After painting, begin with the small caps, snapping them into place and then securing them with glue. Next, align the large pocket on a small edge and apply a single drop of glue to set one short side in position. Once that drop sets, roll the large vented part over the remaining area, allowing it to take its proper curved shape. Secure this end with additional glue and let it dry. Finally, add several drops of glue along the long edge of the pocket, applying pressure to the vented face for a tight bond. Test fit your part against the astromech skins, sanding the edges if necessary for a precise fit.
