I've been working on my first transformer design from scratch. When fully assembled and transformed, it's ready for use right off the print bed. As things stand, it's a bit of a tiny robot, so I'm unsure how well it'll scale up when printed larger. To give you an idea, my most recent print featured a layer height of 0.3mm and an infill setting of 20%. That said, I managed to print this whole bot in about 30 minutes - plenty fast enough for getting a robot that's exactly what you need! After printing is complete, carefully lift it from the bed, and then work at releasing the arms, legs, and feet.
