The Aston Martin Vantage series consists of expertly crafted sports cars engineered by British automotive pioneer, Aston Martin. The company has historically applied the Vantage name to high-performance variations of their GT models, such as the Virage-based vehicle of the 1990s. However, the latest model embodies a streamlined and agile design, aiming to capture the interest of enthusiasts who favor high-end cars like the Porsche 911, in addition to luxury sports and GT vehicles that traditionally rival Aston Martins. Aston Martin terminated V8 Vantage production in 2017 while V12 Vantage assembly ceased in 2018. In November 2017, Aston Martin unveiled an updated version of the Vantage model at the Paris Motor Show, following the release of the new design earlier in the year. After presenting the AMV8 Vantage concept car at the North American International Auto Show in 2003, which was designed by renowned car designer Henrik Fisker, the production-ready version known as the V8 Vantage premiered at the Geneva Motor Show in 2005 for the following model year. This sleek, two-seat coupe boasts an innovative bonded aluminum structure, maximizing both strength and lightness. With a total length of 172.5 inches (4.38 m) and featuring a convenient hatchback-style tailgate with ample storage space behind the seats, this car stands out from other models. Alongside the V8 model, Aston Martin later released an open-top variant known as the V8 Vantage Roadster in 2006. Powering the original V8 Vantage is a high-performance 4.3-liter (4,280 cc) V8 engine featuring quad-camshaft and thirty-two valve architecture that delivers 380 horsepower at 7,300 rpm alongside peak torque of 409 N·m at 5,000 rpm. Beginning in 2008, however, Aston Martin fitted all the subsequent models with a more advanced version of this engine. Produced to compete effectively on both street and racing circuits, the powerful 4.3 L V8 boasted unique performance that allowed for dry-sump lubrication mounted lower within the vehicle for better balance. To support Aston Martin's innovative technology features, including lightweight magnesium components and an innovative gear system design, advanced high-quality air cooling technologies help cool all four brake rotor and calipers while enhancing traction, control during hard braking by means of six powerful slotted brake pads located front-center near mid-mounted Brembo disk wheels and larger ones found rear-centrally at end. By applying expert technology such as engine and transaxle configurations with dry-sump lubrication and race-derived camshaft geometry design in combination with Aston Martin designed cylinder block, piston crowns, valves seats exhaust valves, gear box linkage rods pistons rod bushings oil sumps and fuel filters produced under license agreement through a unique production technique that maximized strength durability safety by combining multiple different components in their correct configuration without weakening the chassis - these powerful race inspired Aston Martn sports cars quickly dominated competitive auto shows such as North American international race series as seen in Detroit. Aston Martin plans to offer limited production run with an exclusive number ranging from a possible total of up-to one hundred and fifty unique special high-end luxury two-door coupe. This exclusive new range of limited hand-crafted luxury Aston Martins also will not have engine upgrades however they do possess superior interior materials for those wishing only to upgrade the aesthetic exterior with no performance upgrade desired. For model year 2007, the price rose significantly, totaling approximately US $110,000 while for European clients its total comes in at £80,950. Also known as 'Baby Vanquish' The name itself has origins from being the world's smallest Vanquish, because unlike it bigger siblings who sport V12 engine which gives out an amazing output power. The "baby vanquish" gets powered by V8. It was originally intended to target entry level luxury buyer market for whom budget wasn't much. In this segment one wouldn't prefer high revving motor. The baby Vanquish, unlike its bigger siblings gets only powered through single bank and two overhead cam system along with three valves which is the simplest variant out of these and is very cheap on parts to replace, as compared to all these exotic materials needed for it’s other bigger siblings' engine
