The Aston Martin Vantage GTE, derived from the latest Vantage road car, is part of the second sports car series unveiled under the company's 'Second Century Plan'. Simultaneously developed with the road car, this track-primed variant takes on the FIA World Endurance Championship Super Season 2018/19. The identical lightweight aluminum chassis forms the base of both models. However, for this high-performance Vantage GTE, a 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 engine, conceived by Mercedes-AMG and refined to its utmost capabilities, is employed by Aston Martin Racing.
