Our team required tensile strength samples for new thermoset resins. We created a directly 3D printed TPU mold (orange), and a silicone cast mold (blue) from the negative mold (red) to evaluate the performance of the two materials with the resins and the casting conditions. The molds do have a texture (3D printer path), which could affect results. The dimensional accuracy is limited by your printer's capabilities. These molds appear to be approximately 3.5mm thick, rather than the intended 3.2mm thickness.
