Pottery Fragment from Hassuna Period, circa 6000-5000 BCE. Carved decorations are visible on the fragment. In addition to its collection number with the Finnish Heritage Agency, an earlier marking is also written on its side. The Hassuna period dates back approximately 9,000 years. This pottery sherd was digitized in 3D as part of the Making Home Abroad / Kotona kulttuurissa research project from 2020-2021 using digital photogrammetry. To enhance the online viewing experience, the 3D digitization process was streamlined significantly.
