This asthma spacer features a three-dimensionally printed part made from FDM material, combined with a circular tube measuring two inches in inner diameter and adjustable length. The design allows for disassembly and easy cleaning. Printing time on an FDM machine comes out to approximately two hours at a layer thickness of 0.35mm. For enhanced sealing, O-rings can be obtained to ensure a proper fit between the PVC tube and three-dimensional printed components, as well as between the mouthpiece guard and inhaler. A dedicated channel accommodates a round O-ring for this purpose. This is an initial prototype, leaving room for further refinement and improvement.
