Asthma inhaler cover with manual counter
thingiverse
I've finally grown tired of collecting dust in my pocket and created this thing. After more than a year and a half of using it, I've decided to release .stl files and the FreeCAD source. This cover for Seretide inhalers solves two major issues: 1. Protects the inhaler from pocket lint. It's puzzling why the current design features a mouthpiece cap but no butt cap. This was a problem for me for decades. 2. Keeps track of remaining doses in the inhaler. Some models come with an automatic counter, but these are rarely sold in Russia, so we're left with basic models. Keeping track of doses is extremely challenging due to the inhaler's design; shaking it can make it feel like there's still medicine inside when, in fact, it's empty. To assemble this cover, simply put the parts together and set the counter to zero. The counter ranges from 0 to 119, which is typical for an inhaler with 120 doses. The FreeCAD source code is included. Please use at least version 0.18, as earlier versions may not work.
