Asterias, a majestic cactus thriving in Mexico's mountainous regions, inspires Patricia Urquiola's innovative design. A spacious round table boasts a central base paying homage to its namesake cactus. Six curved, wedge-shaped wooden panels protrude over the central plinth, expertly crafted through 3D printing. The top, measuring 160 or 180 cm in diameter, showcases a rounded edge divided into four wedges, creating an intriguing geometric pattern. A practical accessory can be seamlessly integrated: a central Lazy Susan turntable, widely used in Asian countries.
