This model, constructed in 3ds Max 2011, represents a helichrysum flower. The preview images exhibit postwork (not directly rendered from 3ds Max) created in Adobe After Effects, featuring added backgrounds, depth of field, and color correction. The flower is generated using a script (included), which utilizes an etalon petal to instance the base with seven rows of petals, each containing three groups - red, green, and blue. You can separately animate these groups for bud revealing animation or activate the flex modifier on the flex mod instance petals to create trembling main petals. The script also clones an etalon material in the upper left corner of the material editor and assigns it to each row of petals. If there are issues with the model's geometry, moving the time slider to zero allows you to recreate the flower using the script while maintaining the etalon petals' geometry and material, keeping the names and modifiers order intact. By modifying the etalon's geometry or material, you can re-run the script and obtain a new flower. However, before executing the script, remember to close the row groups to avoid unnecessary manual deletion of remaining petals. Additionally, an obj sequence with separate materials for each row of petals is included, suitable for use in Element 3D plugin for After Effects or other software supporting obj sequences.
