Strike Cruisers are the Imperial cruisers specifically designed for planetary operations. Several classes exist, all of which are fast, exceptionally well-armoured, and heavily armed with a mix of specialized barrage bombs, bombardment cannons, and assault craft. Their high cost means they are operated almost exclusively by Imperial Space Marines. Almost all parts are compatible with files from Imperial Light Cruisers, taking the weapons and turret options from Imperial Cruisers. They come with a hole to accept standard flying stands, scaled to overall length, and had to eyeball everything else. Strike Cruisers are excellent for games of Battlefleet Gothic or other space games, as well as representing orbital assets in Epic: 40,000. On December 28, 2017, the hole for mounting on flight stands was changed to 3mm. Wing B was redone, and Bridge Bottom was added. On January 1, 2018, the prow B was flattened down and made wider.
