The royal inscription is intricately carved directly into the relief. Excavated Site: The Palace of Ashurnasirpal II at Kalhu, commonly known as Tell Nimrud in Iraq. Composition: Crafted from limestone, this ancient masterpiece measures 2.275 meters in length and 1.83 meters in width. Acquisition History: The origins of this relic remain unknown, although it was acquired by the museum in 1927 as part of the Marlay Additions collection.
