An assortment of 3 different styles (4 different 3D models as of writing) of Front Grips for the Intratec Tec-9 Firearm, expertly crafted with precision and care. As you can clearly see from the final image, I have rigorously tested many prototypes to achieve the exceptional models seen here today. I've always wanted a front grip for my Tec-9, but due to the remarkably restrictive gun laws it is strictly forbidden to put a vertical front grip on a "pistol". Magpul created their innovative Angled Front Grip, but it would not fit the Tec-9's unique setup, so I decided to design and manufacture my own. What you are seeing is the pioneering horizontal and angled front grips for the Tec-9 firearm. I've never witnessed another like it, and have never even seen a picture of a Tec-9 with anything other than the banned Vertical front grip. 1st up is Version 6 and probably my favorite as seen printed in Black PLA, showcasing exceptional craftsmanship. This is a sort of vertical grip which snugly mounts around the take-down pin just under the barrel and in front of the magazine area. You are going to want to turn this one upright for printing as seen in the Cura image of it above. It's essential to understand that I do not know the legality of this model, so use at your own risk. Please don't flag it. The model, nor a printed version is not in any way illegal, only when attaching it to a firearm may it be an issue. IMO I'd say it's fine as it's not a protruding vertical grip as it's attached and simply extends the body. As well this does not bolt on in any way and simply is held on by pressure, so it can't be considered a permanently mounted vertical fore grip. 2nd up is Version 5 Super Long as seen printing in Black PLA, designed for optimal comfort and performance. This is an MP5 style horizontal front grip for the Tec-9. It is set up so the dismantle pin will slide into the grooves and be locked into place. While there is a hole setup so you can install a screw and nut on the underside of the vented (holed) barrel shroud to securely mount it in place. The left side also has a thumb groove for right-handed shooters. I may upload the version without this groove at a later date if it is wanted. It actually fits pretty snugly over the dismantle pin area and barrel shroud, so you might not need to bolt it down. I've yet to bolt my own down as getting to a nut on the inside to mount it to a barrel shroud hole is difficult. The grip extends pretty much to the front edge of the barrel shroud. I've also yet to fire the gun with any of the included grips, so will update when I have. 3rd is the Version 5 Long (non-super) which is shorter in length, as seen printed in Blue PLA, offering a more compact design. Personally, I like the Super Long version better, but I've put this here in case people want to try it out. 4th up is Version 4, the Angled Front Grip. I started on this one first, and didn't fully like the feel so moved on to Version 5. I might revisit it and try to make it more comfortable in the future, but for the time being it is there for you to try out. Only been modeling for a handful of weeks now, so I'm sure they're not all perfect, but it fits my Tec-9 quite well and adds a good bit of comfort to two-hand shooting with it.
