This tool assists in opening paint tubes. Its purpose is to help a skilled young artist overcome her main obstacle to creativity: she can't open her paint tubes. It has also been used by individuals with arthritis to open small containers. Designed for paint tube caps from approximately 10-25 mm in diameter, typically having a capacity of 12-50 ml. The guard located along the back and the thumb rest assist in preventing fingers from curling into the working grip area. Some users may require additional design modifications to accommodate their individual needs. This model can be scaled up or down in the slicer to fit larger or smaller caps.
