Assistive computer mouse "Full Case"
thingiverse
The Full-Case was designed specifically for mouthstick users who require assistance in operating their computer mouse. This innovative device enables the user to access all functions of a standard computer mouse, including the convenient mouse wheel. To assemble the Full-Case, three main components must be manufactured: the case, the top layer, and the top part. The case and top should be crafted from durable PLA/ABS materials, while the top layer is made from flexible TPE to enhance usability. A standard computer mouse, such as the Microsoft WM1850, needs to be disassembled in order to integrate it with the Full-Case. The circuit board must be carefully placed inside the case, followed by the mouse wheel and battery. Once these components are in place, the top layer can be securely attached to the top part using a strong adhesive. The final step involves assembling the top and case together using a sturdy cylinder-head screw (ISO 4762 M3x12). This ensures a tight and secure fit that will withstand regular use.
