These innovative assistants are designed to aid individuals with dexterity challenges, such as struggling to button shirts or zip up sacks. Since not all debilitating conditions affect the hands in the same way, I've created two distinct models, each featuring a unique grasp mechanism. The design consists of two interlocking parts: a long, flexible section for fastening buttons and a hook-shaped component on the opposite side for securely closing zippers. To ensure optimal performance, the model should be printed with 100% infill. I envision this assistive device being a valuable resource for individuals with limited hand mobility, providing them with greater independence and ease in their daily lives.
