Assignment - 6 Props: Sewing Room - Niemann
sketchfab
For our "6 Props" project, I chose a theme that's right in my backyard, allowing me to highlight texturing details. My objective was to craft props that look remarkably realistic given the polycount constraint, incorporating wear and tear, and minute details to bring them to life. As the semester's first project, this challenge served as an excellent springboard for getting into the creative zone for upcoming Modeling II class assignments. In retrospect, I'd approach things differently by creating more custom textures and steering clear of Textures.com and product images (for the dress form adjustment dials and grid mat). I would revisit the Table and Dress Form legs to strengthen their shapes and smooth out more edges on the sewing machine.
