Assignment for DIG4780: This assignment is designed to put your skills in digital media into practice. It's a project that requires you to think creatively and showcase your ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world problems. Your task is to create an interactive installation that explores the relationship between technology and human behavior. This can be done through any medium, such as virtual reality, augmented reality, or even a simple website. The goal of this assignment is not only to demonstrate your technical skills but also to showcase your understanding of the theoretical concepts we've covered in class. You'll need to create a project that not only looks great but also has substance and meaning behind it. Some ideas to get you started: * Create an immersive experience that explores the impact of social media on our mental health * Design an interactive installation that showcases the possibilities of artificial intelligence * Develop a website or app that highlights the importance of digital literacy in today's world The key is to think outside the box and come up with something unique and innovative. Don't be afraid to take risks and push the boundaries of what's possible. Submission Requirements: * A written report (2-3 pages) that outlines your project idea, goals, and methodology * A presentation (10-15 minutes) that showcases your project and its impact * A final product that demonstrates your skills and creativity Grading: * Creativity and originality of the project (30%) * Technical skill and execution (25%) * Written report and presentation (20%) * Final product quality (25%) Deadlines: * Written report: Due on February 15th * Presentation: Due on March 1st * Final product: Due on April 10th I'm excited to see what you all come up with!
