This is an assembly of the Prusa Mendel RepRap, Iteration 2. I'm using the variation with slightly longer X axis smooth rods (412mm) and an extra 4 nuts and 4 washers on the top (allowing the z-motor-mounts to be adjustable). Blue rods are threaded rods. I lined these all up by hand, using OpenSCAD in Orthagonal mode to verify each aligned hole, etc. The real work of this thing is the file assembled_JLK.scad. In the same directory as this file, place the the contents of the directory "metric-prusa-lm8uu" from inside https://github.com/prusajr/PrusaMendel.git (which I included in this thing). I also used the Buddaschnozzle model from here:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:255907 Note: As an exercise, I did this using only the actual STL files, not the OpenSCAD source for the parts that generate those STLs. Marking as a work in progress because there are more things to add that I just haven't gotten around to. EDIT: Saw that the location of the bar clamps on the bottom of the triangles was off for some reason, fixed it with _v2 and removed original. Instructions Open up the file assembled_JLK_v2.scad (with all of the other attached files in the same directory). This was made to show how parts are supposed to line up, things like the Y-axis bars being on top, etc.
