In two versions, for standard bars 38 and long version for 45 cm bars. The long version provides a significant stiffness of the axis x, superior to the short version, mounts 8cm diameter and 45 cm length bars... recommended. One of the defects I noticed building cartesianas like i3/a8 is a certain instability of the axis x. Plastics made by injection of a8 are rigid and well-made, but the original 38 cm bars are too short… this leads to a small insertion of the bars from the motor side, the axis x if lifted only from one side has a significant flexion, especially when lifting it from the idler side with the extruder motor in home. First the idler rises then after a while the motor also rises. On my printers I immediately overcame this big inconvenience by lengthening the x-axis bars by a few cm to surpass the z-axis rods and bearings. The result is that the axis x rises equally from both the right and left sides… which provides a significant increase in stiffness of the axis and consequently an increase in precision. This specific axis mounts 45 cm long bars.
