As the Rebel Alliance began acquiring Galactic Republic-era Rendili StarDrive Dreadnaught-class starships, they faced significant challenges in managing and recruiting the required 16,000-crew. Despite their desperate need for warships, Rebel engineers turned to innovative solutions to overcome this hurdle. By equipping Dreadnaughts with droids and automated systems, they were able to reduce the crew requirement to just 5,000 beings, effectively rendering these ships usable. Rebel engineers then set out to modify Dreadnaughts to enhance their speed and efficiency while retaining the original armament. The end result was a ship that bore only a faint resemblance to its predecessor, with most of its internal structure exposed to space. A dorsal and ventral fin provided added maneuverability, allowing the Rebel Alliance to adapt these warships for more agile combat. I didn't create this model. Instead, I converted and repaired it for 3D printing purposes. Credit goes to the talented team that originally developed and refined this design.
