Assassin Creed Ring
cults3d
Assassin Creed ring designed for metal casting and metal 3D printing. Most rings are modeled with a US size = 8 (Diameter = 18.14mm approx.), so scaling up won't cause any problem with wall thickness, especially when using most metal 3D printing techniques. To scale up a ring to fit your finger size, I recommend using Meshmixer, a free software from Autodesk that makes it easy to measure and adjust models. Import the ring, and from the left menu choose Analysis/Measure. Select the inner diameter of the ring by choosing from the sub-menu Type: edge to edge, Direction: outward (n), Snapping mode: Snap to Vertices. Click on the inner diameter and you'll see a red line with a reading on the right side. To scale up, go to the Edit menu/Transform and increase any of the size values, making sure that Uniform Scaling is checked. Repeat the measuring process above until you get your correct finger size. Once done, make sure to export the model as STL Binary Format, which is recommended for most 3D printing applications. All published models are sold for personal use only. If you'd like to purchase any model for commercial use, please contact me directly. If you'd like a custom ring, jewelry item or any other model, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me. To achieve a similar polish/finish as in the rendered ring image (with dark cavity), print the ring with vintage/antique silver. Currently, i.materialise is one of the only sources for this type of metal. However, there are other methods that can be done at home if printed in silver - simply search YouTube for "how to oxidize silver at home."
