With crystal-clear transparent PLA, it's now possible to craft precise lenses with flawless accuracy. Here, I'm offering hyperboloid lenses boasting a diameter of 20mm and two theoretical focal lengths: one at 20mm and another at 50mm. To achieve optimal results, these lenses must be printed with an infill rate of 100%. Once printing is complete, the surface of each lens requires meticulous polishing to ensure exceptional clarity. The possibilities for lens design are endless, but it's essential to note that the transparent PLA material has limitations in terms of transparency. While it's suitable for condensing light beams and focusing them with decent accuracy, it may not be sufficient for crafting high-quality optical instruments. Feel free to experiment with different diameters and focal lengths – convex or concave – and let me know if you'd like me to create another custom lens for you. If you do create one, please take the time to measure its focal length so we can gather valuable data about the performance of PLA materials in various applications.
