Iron Age Pithouse - Eisenzeitliches Grubenhaus\nArchaeological Open Air Site in MAMUZ - Schloß Asparn/Zaya\nThis is a simpler structure within the open area, which shows an Iron Age pithouse.\nThe living areas are already more clearly separated in these Iron Age houses, so you can see not only residential houses but also a smithy, a pottery and a bakery hut.\nThe houses are all models of buildings based on archaeological excavations. Inside, everyday items are visible to make the world of our ancestors experienceable.
