Asmodeus the Father of Lies, Lord of Hell

Please consider joining our Tribe Lord of the Pit, King of Hell, Father of Lies, Master of Devils – many are the names of Asmodeus, the ruler of Nine Hells and the ninth circle – Nessus, the deepest layer of the infernal Pit, where he landed when he was thrown from the skies in the dawn of the Multiverse, as the legends tell. Some myths say that Asmodeus is not his real name, that his true indentiy is hidden by the web of lies so thick that even most ancient of beings know nothing of his real nature. On some worlds, Asmodeus is worshiped as a god and he in fact grants spells to his priests and clerics. He sometimes serves as patron to warlocks and witches. At the same time, on other worlds he is only an archdevil, uncarying ruler of the Hell’s hierarchy. When he deigns to show himself, his avatar is most frequently in the guise of tall and well-shaped man, with red skin, small horns and black hair and goatee. He mostly wears red clothes with black accents and his rod of rulership is his sing of power over all lesser devils. In this guise, he is cunning but charming, intelligent and witty, prone to make bargains with mortals and even reward those who outwit him – or those he allows to outwit him, as the case may be.
