Location: Museo Archeologico di Aidone, Aidone, Sicily, Italy Catalogue Number: 70-28 Description: Askos handcrafted from impasto material, coarse friable clay blended with heavy grog, no decorative elements present. High and vertical in shape, featuring a globular form characteristic of primitive art. Complete in its entirety. Data Capture Method: Photogrammetry Technology Processing Software: RealityCapture System Citation: A joint effort between the University of Catania and CVAST at the University of South Florida (USF) initially collected data for this project, with Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK) providing collaborative support. Dr. Mariarita Sgarlata and Dr. Herbert Maschner led the investigation as Principal Investigators. Gratitude is extended to Villa Romana del Casale administrators and Museo Archeologico di Aidone staff for their participation. The data were transferred to Global Digital Heritage (GDH) for processing and analysis. Funding for this project was provided by the Hitz Foundation, with Dr. Herbert Maschner serving as Principal Investigator at both USF and GDH.
