This flute operates similarly to a recorder and aims to produce notes cbagfed. However, there are resonance issues that need to be resolved; it fails to reach its full pitch or desired tone. The design is inspired by my favorite wooden flute. To print the v3 beta version, download these three files: flute - test printv3.top.stl, flute - test printv1.bottom.stl, and flute - test printv4.insert.cura.stl. Assemble the flute with a small file and E-Tape (or an alternative), which is used to create an air-tight seal for the insertable reed that directs air towards the square cut hole for proper pitch and air flow across the keys.
