Place your vent-mount phone holder on this mount, which replaces the ashtray (and is right next to the lighter outlet that can be converted to a USB power supply. It's much more solid than the actual vents and easier to reach as well. To remove the ashtray, press up on the door and it will release. This mounts to the same clip and is removed the same way. There is a small lip added to the retention clip to release it with a flathead screwdriver it lifting the access door does not release it. There are 2 versions. One is a 3x3 grid with 4 mount locations. The 2nd design has 2 struts and only 1 vent-mount location in the top right, but includes a coin holder below.
