ASeamount E3D Volcano Hotend
thingiverse
Designed this to work with the E3D Volcano Heatblock and Nozzle. The waterblock is intended to be machined out of 6061 Aluminium, 1/2" x 1/2" Stock. This can be done with a drill press and a chisel. (Not recommended but possible - See Picture) Ideally, this is done on a mill. Additionally, the 2 cuts on the back are just lightening / clearance cuts so they are optional. An STL for the waterblock is provided as a visual aid. Required Parts for Waterblock: M3 Thread 4mm Barbed fittings (3mm fittings do work but 4mm is better) M6 Quick Release Pneumatic Fitting* M6 Heatbreak (Different to E3D Heatbreak) Recommended Parts for Waterloop: 3mm ID Soft Tubing (Silicone or Rubber) 3mm to 6mm Barbed Reducer 12v Water Pump 12v 80mm Fan 80mm Radiator (6mm Barbs) Required E3D Parts (Or Cloned Parts): E3D v6 Volcano Heatblock E3D Volcano Nozzle The assembly is still being tested and better parts are being shipped from overseas so it might not work smoothly yet. Might change some things after some parts are imported *Use a stainless steel one with a 4mm opening so the PTFE tube can reach into the heatbreak (Improves reliability) Naming Explanation: This assembly consists of an E3D Volcano under a waterblock. So its an underwater volcano. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adams_Seamount So yeah.
