Hong Kong Wall Art

This is the third day in my President's day freedom print week, I will post a new piece of art every day that advocates for People's rights and freedoms across the Globe. I will be posting a lot about the events that have unfolded in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia in the last year. I wish to show people the atrocities of China and I STRONGLY advocate for Hong Kong, Taiwan, Tibet, Xinyang, Myanmar, and everywhere people have to fear for their lives whenever they speak out against the government.The Hong Kong Orchard, when the flag was designed in the late 80s seemed like a perfect choice for the new flag under China. The flower symbolized how hong kong flourished under the U.K., and the stars represented how the CCP would try to keep it flourishing under the 'one country, two systemsHowever, as the 'two systems' becomes 'one country, no freedom' this flower wilts, and the people of Hong Kong are suffering under the harsh authoritarian rule. Even the smallest of protests people have to wear gas masks, goggles, and hard hats to avoid getting gassed or shot. Only time will tell if this escalates to another Tiananmen square. In order to save this orchid from death, we have to take a stand against China. If they want to go back on their promises to protect Hong Kong's Liberties then Hong Kong can go back on them
