myminifactory
This is a small statue of Asclepius, the god of healing, with Telesphorus, his young apprentice, standing faithfully by his side. Believed to have originated in Greece and once owned by Viscount Strangford, this marble sculpture is perched atop a round funerary altar from Knidos, adorned with two ancient Greek inscriptions. This object forms part of the "Scan The World" initiative, a non-profit project launched by MyMiniFactory. Through Scan The World, we are creating a vast digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from around the globe, available for free to the public.
