Ascend Acoustics Speaker Horizontal Sign
thingiverse
October Update Corrected the left file to remove unwanted objects, now correctly sized for 200mm printer bed. So after creating the initial Ascend Acoustics sign, I decided to create a cleaner and bigger version that fits perfectly above the steps in my home theater. I vector traced the original image, then moved the letters to the side to create a sleeker design. This is a large sign measuring ~544mm, broken into three sections with intricate inlays created in sections 1 and 2. The white arches and red swoop are printed separately and fit snugly into the inlay areas for a clean and assembled look. To assemble the sign, I used crazy glue (Cyanoacrylate) to join the sections and the inlays. It's essential to apply some pressure so the sections bond well together. To avoid any mess, I recommend placing wax paper or another protective material underneath the pieces during assembly. If you decide to print one of these signs, please post a photo of it - I'd love to see how it turns out!
