Asahi Ford Sierra XR4i tail light (1/14)

The dull red tail light glass is an embarrassment to this otherwise fine toy-grade model RC from Asahi in my opinion. So, I created a 3D model of the glass for printing in clear material, and I used clear Taulman Bridge Nylon in the pictures, but afterwards I tried with T-Glase instead which gave a much better result as it's more transparent. I painted the glass with Tamiya translucent paint (I know I didn't do too good a job, because I'm not the most patient guy). The picture of the painted glass is from my initial Bridge Nylon print and not T-Glase. Print Settings Printer: Creality CR-10 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: No internal infill - All printed as concentric outline Notes: With clear Taulman T-Glase I printed the part so it was standing on its bottom side and added supports under the bits that stick out on the back. Design process Design process: I measured the original one with vernier calipers and modelled it in Autodesk Inventor 2017. The colored image is a ray-traced version I made with Inventor to demonstrate the coloring of the glass.
