I have 6 of these AP22's scattered around my house indoors. They're amazing and give me perfect internet everywhere. The signal never quite reached the hot tub / pool area. I ran a Cat8 outdoor ethernet cable with power-over-ethernet to the tree by the hot tub, about 150 feet deep in the backyard, and that solved the problem. However, the AP22 does not have an outdoor waterproof enclosure. I initially just used a Ziploc bag and taped where the Cat8 came out. That lasted about 6 months until water leaked in and fried the device. So, I designed this enclosure. You do need to seal it with waterproof silicone sealant. You also need to be gentle when pushing the bottom into the main shell as you could crack your sidewalls. I used my 3D printer spatula to help me work the bottom into the main shell. I also used alien tape, the thick gooey flexible tape, to mount the AP22 to the main shell so it was easier to assemble everything. The AP22 should be held towards the top of the enclosure depending on how you mount it because you still will likely get moisture build up and condensation inside the enclosure even if you perfectly seal it. So, you don't want that condensation touching the AP22. The mounts on the AP22 keep one side elevated. The two 5mm tall nubbies on the bottom piece keep distance for the other side.Feel free to modify the Fusion360 file and re-post if you make mods. I will say I don't like that I can't see the status LED lights. I was going to add a cutout area for a small piece of cut glass to fit into and silicone sealed in place but didn't have the time.I printed this in ABS+ on my Voron Trident. Printed at 250 degrees C and 0.3mm layer height to get stronger layer adhesion to ensure waterproof tightness. I tested the shell after printing by submerging in water for a couple hours and there were no leaks. I did not have to increase extrusion %'age to a higher percentage like some recommend to ensure water-tightness because the Voron is so nicely dialed-in, but you may have to.
