A compact desktop stand for Aruba 205 WAPs that offers flexibility in placement options. These devices normally come equipped with ceiling tile mounts, allowing you to secure them to a ceiling tile for optimal performance. This custom stand enables you to place the device on a desk, making it easier to configure or use as a permanent fixture. I chose not to fill in the back supports to ensure proper ventilation, as these access points can generate heat during operation. Additionally, leaving the back supports open allows for seamless installation of ceiling tile mounting brackets without any obstructions. A hidden benefit of this design is that the front lights are concealed by the front support, providing a sleeker appearance.
