Securing aid keeps tank and car models firmly in place while navigating MRR layouts. It's not a precise solution, but it gets the job done effectively. I encountered issues with tanks and cars sliding off after extended use, resulting in frequent derailments. These small securing aids prevent tanks from shifting, even during emergency braking. No glue is required; tanks can still be easily swapped or removed. The mounting mechanism utilizes existing holes and extrusions on the cars. I designed the following securing aids: - marklin_ssyms_securing_23mm.stl/marklin_ssyms_securing_23mm_nocutout.stl: For Marklin 6-axle heavy load cars, such as #4867. - artitec_ssyms_securing_23mm.stl: For Artitec 6-axle heavy load cars in the 20.320.xx series. - artitec_ssy45_securing_23mm.stl: For Artitec 4-axle heavy load cars, like those in the 20.280.xx and 20.283.xx series. - artitec_ommrlinz_23mm.stl/artitec_ommrlinz_17mm.stl/artitec_ommrlinz_16mm.stl/artitec_ommrlinz_13mm.stl: For Artitec/Roco 2-axle heavy load cars in the 20.332.xx series. Use the 23mm size for most tank models. For a better fit, scale up tank models from m_bergman's great designs (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:769137) to ~115% before slicing; they'll match perfectly on the 23mm width holders. The smaller width securing aids can be used for various car and half-track models.
