Artist's Lazy Susan
thingiverse
This is a compact, low-key lazy susan perfect for use in small art projects. The platform measures 75mm in diameter, allowing for a stable surface area to work with. The top and bottom pieces snap together securely, providing a solid foundation. I opted for air soft pellets as bearings, which provide a decent amount of smoothness without making the device rotate too quickly. However, upgrading to 6mm steel bearings would significantly enhance the rotation's fluidity, although it might also cause the platform to spin out of control. Due to part tolerances and bearing race sizing, this design may not be easily scalable. To ensure structural integrity, I added 10% density supports under the bottom piece and on the overhanging sections of the tabs.
