This is based on Overlord_07's design on Thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4779306 This attaches to the top of the existing extruder to replace the feeder mechanism without replacing the hot end. The Plus version has an extra set of holes to strengthen the mount. (I had some issues with the motor getting hot and softening the plastic, turning the amperage on the motor down and/or printing in something other than PLA would help as well.) However it requires 40mm long M3 bolts which are a little harder to source. Plus you get real close to scraping the back of the sheet metal covering the ribbon cable plugs when the extruders home. Button head instead of socket heads would be safer. You will need to pull the motor and the existing sliding feeder parts out of the extruder and take the pieces of teflon tubing out of the nozzle and quick connect part on the top then use one piece to go all the way from the bottom of your BMG to the end of you nozzle. This will of course make it a bit harder to swap nozzles. Basically this turns it into a 100mm Bowden very much like some of the CR-10 direct feed mods. Some minor changes in retraction settings may be needed.
