<p>This collection of parts builds on the work of Eric Lam (<a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4906237">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4906237</a>).</p> <p>There are two mount designs for each extruder - Eric's original captive nut design, and a modified one for heatset inserts.</p> <p>The breakout boards are modified to offset them slightly to allow more room for the new 4020 fan mounts, and to have a slot underneath to run wires for fans.</p> <p>The fan mounts are custom - a mash-up of some ducts with a new top mount.</p> <p>The left fan mount also has a mount-point for BLTouch.</p> <p>BLTouch NOZZLE_TO_PROBE offsets I use are (-42, -28, -0.827), PROBING_MARGIN 50.</p> <p>Printed on Artist D Pro (prior to upgrade)</p> <p>0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height.</p> <p>Fan mounts printed in PETG for slightly higher heat resistance.</p> <p>Due to the shape, a raft may be suitable for the fan mounts, along with some custom supports for the fan outlets.</p> <p>UPDATES;</p> <p>If you intend to use your Artist-D at ABS temperatures, you will need to print these parts in ABS as well.
