Artist Box Divider
thingiverse
I purchased a wooden artist box from Hobby Lobby online and needed dividers for it right away. I quickly printed these out using my 3D printer, and they fit snugly inside the box. To get them in place, I had to file down the ends slightly so they would fit properly. I haven't installed them permanently yet, but I plan on using wood glue once I'm ready. They are designed to be printed in two separate pieces, which allows more printers to fit them on the print bed at once. The longest piece is about 6 inches long or 152.4 millimeters. You'll need to glue these pieces together before installing them in your box. I recommend using a strong adhesive like Loctite from Home Depot, as it works well with PLA plastic. In my experience, regular super glue tends to have trouble sticking to PLA and can even cause it to melt instead of bonding properly.
