Artillery X1 Sidewinder Spool Holder Update

Anyone who owns an Envovo/Artillery X1 Sidewinder will know the process of filament change out can be quite a chore... after all, that's likely why you're here. Rather than printing a whole new spool holder, I decided to upgrade the existing one since its main components are well-made. To print the upgraded spool holder: Ensure you use a higher number of shells; I used 5. Infill is crucial for achieving the desired strength, aiming for around 45-55%. Set Top and Bottom Layers to 8. The final assembly requires only tools provided with the printer. To ensure the screw is tight, note that the tolerances are slightly tight. When first installing the screw, turn it in and out a few times to loosen the fit. The existing spool holder features a right-angle tab that sits atop the top cross member (the one with a rounded end). This simple mechanism pushes into the rectangular opening at the end of the runner. The fit is intentionally tight, so make sure you align the two components well. Happy printing!
