Artillery X1 or Genius suspension foot
thingiverse
A TPU suspension foot for the Artillery Genius or X1. The printer is supported by a flexible membrane. -Reduces stepper noise transmitted through the feet into the workbench/table -Slightly improves X-axis ringing on fast, tall prints -Compensates for a not quite flat table (thanks, Ikea.) -Same height as the standard hard feet -Uses the original mounting screws Tested/calibrated for the weight of the Genius. The Sidewinder X1 might be heavier: when installed there should be a 2-3mm gap between the outer foot and the printer base. If the foot flexes too much, then make the centre screw part taller. Update: to handle heavier printers I've added StrongerFoot.stl (same size, but the suspension membrane is thicker), and TallerFoot.stl (original membrane, but a higher mounting block). Printed in 95A TPU with minimal supports as pictured. 0.4mm nozzle, 0.6 line width, 0.35 layer height, first layer 0.4mm high. Bottom: 1 layer, 100% concentric infill. Walls: 2 lines thick, 100% concentric infill. Top: 2 layers, 100% LINES infill. Skin Expand Distance 4mm: this makes the membrane layer overlap the wall infill.
